4-H Teen-Works Offers Fun in the Summer at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø

VANCOUVER, Wash. - 4-H Teen-Works, a cooperative effort between 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, WSU Extension, and Washington State 4-H, is now accepting applications for summer program opportunities for teens ages 12 to 18.

  • May 19 - Noon to 4 p.m., kick-off event at Big Al's Bowling Center, off NE 164th St.
  • May 26 - Field trip to explore downtown PortlandJune 2 - Teen service learning project, Oregon Zoo
  • June 20 - Half-day bicycle trip, Vancouver LakeJune 30 - Survivor Day
  • June 25, July 30, Aug. 27 - 6 to 8 p.m., last Monday of the month family game nights at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø
  • July - Barbecue and fun day, 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, date to be determined

Teen-Works members can also attend the State Leadership Conference at WSU Pullman, June 24-26.

The Center for Youth Workforce Preparation will also be offering the Preparation and Career Exploration - PACE - academy for middle and high school students, Aug. 6 - 10. Details will be released after June 1.
