Businesses interested in finding tech talent are invited to tour Washington State University Vancouver to learn more about the university’s high-tech programs and the students who will soon enter the job market. The Tech Talent Tour will be held from 1 – 3:30 p.m. Feb. 3.
Explore 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ꿉۪s Creative Media and Digital Culture Program. Students in the program focus on:
- Web and mobile development and design
- 2D and 3D animation for visualization and simulation
- Social media communication and platform development
- Sensor-based physical computing
- Digital publishing
Visit 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ꿉۪s School of Engineering and Computer Science. The school boasts a class 100 clean room. Students focus on:
- Design of microelectronics
- Computers
- Communications networks
- Control Systems
- Power generation and distribution
The Tech Talent Tour is free and open to the first 30 businesses that RSVP. Call Connor Savage at 360-546-9281 to hold your space.
91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205. Parking is available at meters and in the Blue Daily Pay Lot for $3.
