VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Center for Social and Environmental Justice at Washington State University Vancouver invites the community to attend its seventh annual Spring Research Colloquium series. The series will feature faculty and graduate student presenters who will discuss their ongoing research, as well as research needs and interests. The series is free and open to the public.
Launched it 2007, the Spring Research Colloquium is the campus’ only intercollegiate research colloquium. Past colloquiums have resulted in the creation of community-based research collaborations.
Through such events, the Center for Social and Environmental Justice seeks to catalyze collaborations between WSU faculty, students and community partners in order to foster rigorous analysis of social economic, racial and environmental justice issues. The center focuses on promoting human rights and conflict resolution at both local and global levels. For more information please visit .
