Vancouver, Wash. - Washington State University Vancouver presents the Chancellor's Seminar Series, campus lunchtime presentations Fridays, March 7, April 4 and May 16, in the Firstenburg Student Commons. "The Role of the University as Urban Developers," Friday, March 7, noon to 1:30 p.m., David Perry, currently Director of the Great Cities Institute and Professor of Urban Planning and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
"Sleeping Your Way to Success: Understanding Sleep in a 24/7 Society," Friday, April 4, noon to 1:30 p.m., Gregory Belenky examines the critical questions of sleep and performance in people going about their everyday lives.
"Climate Change: Fact or Fiction?" RESCHEDULED Friday, May 16, noon to 1:30 p.m., George Mount examines the implications of climate change from policy makers to scientists to conservationists to business owners and the ordinary citizen.
