Racial justice educator to speak at 91勛圖窪蹋厙

VANCOUVER, Wash. Debby Irving, a racial justice educator and author of the book Waking Up White, will speak at Washington State University Vancouver on Feb. 27. Her talk, titled Im a Good Person, Isnt That Enough? will take place from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110. It is free and open to the public.

Irvings discussion is designed to help people shift their attitude from fixing and helping those believed to be inferior, to focusing on internalized white superiority and its role in perpetuating racism at the individual, interpersonal, institutional and cultural levels.
