Vancouver, Wash. - The Minorities Reconstructing Culture Club at Washington State University Vancouver invites fellow students, as well as staff, faculty and community members to attend several Back History Month events. All events are free and open to the public.

Feb. 8: Earl Ford, Vancouver NAACP, "Black History and Segregation," 3 to 4:15 p.m., Administration building, room 129.

Feb. 14: Clay Mosher, 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Department of Sociology, "Drug Laws: History, Enforcement and Sentencing: The Implications for Racial Disparity in the U.S. Criminal Justice System," 3 to 4:15 p.m., Multimedia Classroom building, room 6.

Feb. 20: Film, "Rise and Fall of Jim Crow," Part I, Noon to 1:15 p.m., Multimedia Classroom building, room 23.

Feb. 22: Film, "Rise and Fall of Jim Crow," Part II, Noon to 1:15 p.m., Multimedia Classroom building, room 23.

Feb. 22 to 24: Second Annual Multicultural Student Summit, multicultural, multicampus conference filled with fun and educational events fostering coalition building and the empowerment of minority students. Interested participants should register by contacting Nathan Webster at 360/904-5539.
