Summer Art Exhibit at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Features Local Photographer Jodi Tripp

VANCOUVER, Wash. - Jodi Tripp's collection of photographs will be displayed in the Washington State University Vancouver Engineering Life Sciences building gallery Aug. 16 to Oct. 6.

Members of the community are invited to attend an opening reception in the gallery on Thursday, Aug. 24 at 4 p.m.The collection features a series of natural images from the Pacific Northwest and a series of colorful digitally enhanced images.

Tripp's interest in photography began at a young age, and she has worked as a professional photographer in different settings including events and portraits.

Her work has been received successfully in a variety of photography competitions throughout the northwest and California and her images are displayed on the "SayWA" Washington State Tourism campaign Web site,

Tripp produces and displays her colorful and creative digital art and local landscapes at area art shows, including the recent 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Faculty, Staff and Student Art Show. She is a past employee of 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, and maintains strong connections to the campus.

Entry to campus exhibits is free, however payment for parking is required Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Parking is available at parking meters or in the blue lot for $2.

91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø galleries are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø is located at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205. For more information, visit
