Vancouver, Wash. - The Washington State University Vancouver and Washington State University Extension Center for Youth Workforce Preparation are now accepting applications for the spring 4-H Teen-Works program.
The spring 4-H Teen-Works Family Orientation will be held at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday March 31, in the Administration building, room 129.
4-H Teen-Works is an after-school program for students to explore areas of interest, future careers and have fun. Learning Tracks are the heart of 4-H Teen-Works "hands on" programs. Tracks consist of eight or more 90-minute weekly sessions scheduled for April 6 to June 12, 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.
Middle school and high school students may select from four different Tracks:
- Exploring Digital Animation for grades 7-12, Tuesday at Heritage High School
- Exploring Adobe Photoshop for grades 7-12 Tuesday at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø
- Exploring Robotics for grades 6 - 8 Tuesday at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø
- Exploring the Power of the Wind for grades 6 - 8, Monday at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø
Cost is $10 per student with limited space on a first come basis. Return applications as soon as possible to secure Track preference.

The 3M Foundation helps underwrite the 4-H Teen-Works cost to families.
The CYWP was established in October 2005. It is a partnership between 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, WSU Extension, Washington 4-H and community partners. The mission is to create opportunities for learning so that youth and adults can successfully navigate the transitions of school-to-work and work-to-work in a diverse and changing workplace.
