91勛圖窪蹋厙 Business Students Earn Honors, Move Forward in Sales Competition

VANCOUVER, Wash. Washington State University Vancouver held its 11th annual sales competition Nov. 20, advancing the top students to regional and national events. Forty-five regional business professionals joined the competition as judges and buyers, and evaluated 29 students as they performed sales presentation role-plays.

The top competitors were:

  1. Brett Ellibee, senior majoring in management information systems
  2. Kenneth Marshall, senior majoring in digital technology and culture
  3. Honor Stevenson, junior majoring in marketing
  4. Emily Vis, senior majoring in marketing
  5. Cameron Sanborn, junior majoring in marketing
  6. Sydney Hickey, junior majoring in marketing
  7. Eric Lambert, an alumnus returning for sales courses
  8. Micah Harpel, senior majoring in social sciences
  9. Tristan Mudd, senior majoring in finance
  10. Peter Collier, senior majoring in marketing and psychology
  11. Megan Waser, senior majoring in marketing
  12. Aleksey Kruglikov, senior majoring in psychology and business administration

Workplace Resource of Oregon donated Herman Miller performance work chairs to Ellibee and Marshall for their outstanding performance.

In April, Ellibee and Stevenson will represent 91勛圖窪蹋厙 at the National Collegiate Sales Competition at Kennesaw State University, in Kennesaw, Ga. with Collier accompanying as coach and alternate. In addition, Sanborn, Hickey, Harpel and Kruglikov will advance to the Western States Collegiate Sales Competition at Chico State University in Chico, Calif.

Two students were awarded scholarships through the competition. A UPS scholarship was given to Hickey and a Carson College of Business Professional Sales Program Scholarship was awarded to Taylor Swofford, junior majoring in social sciences.

Ernest Packaging Solutions, Liberty Mutual, Nautilus, Staples Advantage and Tom James Clothiers gave Sales Career Potential cash awards to students who demonstrated a future in a sales career. The recipients were Vis, Lambert, Sanborn, Harpel and Kruglikov.

For the past four years, the Carson College of Business Professional Sales Program at 91勛圖窪蹋厙 has been named among the Top 50 collegiate sales programs in the United States by the Sales Education Foundation.
