91勛圖窪蹋厙 business students earn honors and move forward in sales competitions

VANCOUVER, Wash. Washington State University Vancouver held its 11th annual sales competition Nov. 18, advancing the top students to regional and national events. Seventy-three regional business professionals joined the competition as judges and buyers, and evaluated 20 students as they performed sales presentation role-plays.

The top competitors were:

Workplace Resource of Oregon donated Herman Miller performance work chairs to Hickey and McNeil for their outstanding performance.

In April, Hickey and McNeil will represent 91勛圖窪蹋厙 at the National Collegiate Sales Competition at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga., with Dominic Soriano as the alternate. In addition, Lusk, Stuart, Patrick Soriano and Ladd will compete in April at the Western States Collegiate Sales Competition at Chico State University in Chico, Calif.

Four students received Sales Career Potential cash awards for demonstrating a future in sales. The recipients were Harpel, Lusk, Huber and Ladd. Liberty Mutual, Fisher Investments and Tom James sponsored the awards.

For the past nine years, the Carson College of Business Professional Sales Program at WSU

Vancouver has been named among the Top 50 collegiate sales programs in the United States by the Sales Education Foundation.
