VANCOUVER, Wash. Effective Aug. 8 at 5 p.m. Washington State University Vancouver will no longer accept new undergraduate freshman and transfer applications for fall 2011. Fall term begins Aug. 22.
By employing an application deadline we can better-serve new students. We want to make sure we have adequate time to receive and evaluate our applicants transcripts and allow our applicants time to meet with an advisor before classes begin. Ultimately we want to ensure students a smooth transition into their university experience, said Nancy Youlden, vice chancellor for student affairs.
Former students returning (students who have previously enrolled as degree-seeking students) and non-degree applications are still being accepted for fall 2011.
