91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø CMDC student receives The Gardner School fellowship

Vancouver, Wash. – Washington State University Vancouver’s Creative Media and Digital Culture program announced that senior Autumn Sailer has been awarded the first The Gardner School of Arts and Sciences fellowship in social media strategy and web analytics for fall 2014. The $1,500 fellowship will be applied toward her tuition. Sailer will work directly with The Gardner School to create a strategy for communicating effectively through social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and others, as well as optimize the school’s website for accessibility.

The Gardner School of Arts and Sciences is a progressive independent school located in Vancouver, Wash. It serves students in preschool through eighth grade and offers small class sizes, individualized instruction and a curriculum that includes specialized teaching in science, art, physical education, music and Spanish.

The Creative Media and Digital Culture Program at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø integrates research and teaching in an intellectually diverse, technologically innovative experience, applying inter- and trans-disciplinary approaches that foster civic engagement from local to global contexts in the areas of digital humanities, media art, media communication, media studies and information systems. The CMDC will receive $1,000 from The Gardner School fellowship for software and other educational materials.
