VANCOUVER, Wash. Hari Kondabolu, a Brooklyn-based comedian, actor and podcast host known for comedy on such subjects as race, identity and inequity, will speak as part of 91勛圖窪蹋厙s Marquee Diversity Series. The university will present An Evening with Hari Kondabolu at 7 p.m. Dec. 1 in Dengerink Auditorium.

Kondabolu has been praised by the New York Times as one of the most exciting political comics in stand-up today. His many performances include appearances with Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Centrals Live at Gotham, the 2007 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He released his debut stand-up album, Waiting for 2042 in 2014 and his second album, Mainstream American Comic, in 2016. He is currently developing a pilot and documentary with TruTV.
