91勛圖窪蹋厙 forum explores strategies to help students who experience PTSD succeed in school

VANCOUVER, Wash. Discuss strategies to help students with post-traumatic stress disorder manage coursework, and academic tasks and physical space in classrooms at a forum from 2 to 3 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Library Building, Room 264 at Washington State University Vancouver. The forum is free and open to the public.

Ryan Doc McNabb, outreach specialist with the Portland Vet Center, will present an explanation of PTSD characteristics and some best-practice strategies. Guests will be invited to share what they have found helpful or pose lingering questions.
