VANCOUVER, Wash. - The Washington State University Vancouver student radio station went back on the air March 3. After a series of management turnovers and staffing issues, KOUG Radio has launched a defined program now available for download.

"Just this week we returned to broadcasting after completing announcer training and a long series of station planning meetings," said Programming Director Spring Atkinson.

The KOUG is a student-operated radio station on the 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø campus, streaming on the Internet 24/7. KOUG offers 10 different program formats ranging from the yodeling madness of WWII propaganda music to the latest and freshest music to hit the airwaves, each is a reflection of the on-air personality of the host. Diversity in programming is one of the revamps offered by the KOUG staff in order to better serve students and the local community.
