91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø sales competition advances students to national and regional competitions

ANCOUVER, Wash. – The Washington State University Vancouver Professional Sales Program held its annual Sales Competition Nov. 15. Two 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø students advanced to a national competition and four advanced to a regional competition.

At the 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Sales competition, 22 students competed by performing sales presentation role-plays. Thirty-eight sales and sales management professionals representing 25 area companies served as buyers and judges for the role-plays.

The top two winners of the competition were Christina Price, a senior studying marketing, and Narges Khademisaysan, a senior studying business administration. Both will advance to represent 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø at the National Collegiate Sales Competition in Kennesaw, Ga. in March 2014. Both also won Herman Miller Aeron chairs donated by Workplace Resource of Oregon.

The next four top performers were Carson Creecy, post baccalaureate student; Heidi Gallear, a senior studying marketing; Shelby Meader, a senior studying marketing; and Stephanie Venturella, a senior studying social science. They will advance to represent 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø at the Western States Collegiate Sales Competition in Chico, Calif. in April 2014.
