VANCOUVER, Wash. The Washington State Univeristy Vancouver University Singers will perform music from the French Romantic Era at 1 p.m. Dec. 9 on campus in the Administration building, room 110. The concert is free and open to the public.
The concert will feature Francis Poulencs Sonata for Piano and Four Hands and Gabriel Faures Requiem performed with chamber orchestra, choir and vocal soloists.
The choir is so excited to perform this great work that members donated their own money to fund the chamber orchestra and soloists, said Debra Barnett, choir member and principal assistant in the College of Education.
The 91勛圖窪蹋厙 University Singers is a 40-voice choir made up of students, faculty, staff and community volunteers. The choir is led by choral director, Lee Jennings. To learn more, visit .
91勛圖窪蹋厙 is located at 14204 NE Salmon Creek Ave., east of the 134th Street exit from either I-5 or I-205, or via C-Tran bus service. Parking is available at parking meters or in the Blue Daily Pay lot for $3.
