VANCOUVER, Wash. 鈥 Learn how the art of delegating can help empower employees and improve performance at Washington State University Vancouver鈥檚 next Business Growth MAP Alliance forum. The event will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Oct. 17 at the Columbia Bank Community Room, 101 E. Sixth St., Vancouver.
The forum will explore how to make the shift from doing to leading. You will learn how to change your thinking in order to systematize accountability, yield predictable results and streamline your operations while resisting micromanagement. It is the fifth forum in MAP Alliance鈥檚 10-part leadership series, which will continue throughout the 2018/19 academic year.
This month鈥檚 speaker, Al Tong, is chief technology officer for Pacific Coast Fruit Co. He is a results-driven business leader who deploys strategic/tactical analysis and planning to optimize business process and team development. He has more than 30 years of warehousing, manufacturing and logistics experience.
