Scheduling requests must be made through 25Live and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. All space requests are required to enter a valid budget number. Any space request that does not have a budget number will be denied and made to resubmit their request with an associated budget number. Events choosing a no-cost space rental are still be required to enter a budget number. Space requests must meet the following processing requirements:
- 21 business days are required to book:
- Firstenburg Student Commons
- Dengerink Administration Building, Rooms 110 and 129
- 10 business days are required to book:
- General-use classrooms
- Computer labs
- Tabling locations
Potentially high-risk events could be subject to a longer processing period despite having requested the space. Event qualities such as, but not limited to, attendance size, alcohol service, advertisement to the public, cooking or use of outdoor areas could involve additional steps that require more planning time. Events open to the public and those serving alcohol require approval from the vice chancellor for finance and operations. Reach out to the Events Office to ensure you have enough time to secure space for your event.
Business days are defined as 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday excluding state holidays. Once an event request has been processed, an email confirmation will be sent. Event space is not secured until the Events Office generates an official event confirmation with a corresponding reservation number. Submitted requests do not constitute a confirmed reservation.
