
23rd Annual 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Research Showcase
The 2026 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Research Showcase will take place on April 14.
Poster and art exhibit presentations will take place in the Firstenburg Student Commons from 9 a.m. to noon. Faculty, staff and students may also participate in the Award Ceremony where the award winners will be announced at 1:30 p.m. April 14.
Students may present their work and be judged in the following categories and time slots:
- Undergraduate student poster presentations: 10 a.m. – noon
- Graduate student poster presentations: 9 – 11 a.m.
- Art exhibitions for all students: 10 – 11 a.m.
How to Participate
Submissions will open on Monday, January 19 and will close on Monday, March 9 at 11:59pm.

Judging Information
Posters
Three judges will be assigned to review your poster presentation. You will have an opportunity to present to each judge assigned to your presentation. In total, you will give your presentation at least three times. After your presentation, the judges will be able to ask in-depth questions about your research. Judges will then complete a scoring rubric and return it to the Committee for a final tally. Please refer to the rubric score sheet below.

Art Exhibit

Schedule of Deadlines and Events
- Jan. 19: Accepting submissions
- March 9: Submission deadline closes at 11:59 p.m.
- March 25 – All Presenters: Submission confirmation deadline—must be emailed by 11:59 p.m. to holly.davis@wsu.edu
- April 6 – Poster Presenters only: Poster submission deadline — must be emailed in PDF format by 9:00 a.m. to holly.davis@wsu.edu
- April 14: Poster and Art Exhibit presentations, 9:00 a.m. – noon in Firstenburg Student Commons
- April 14: Art viewing in the VDEN gallery, 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. in Dengerink Administration Building
- April 14: Awards Ceremony, 1:30 p.m. in Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110
Awards
A certificate of merit and a monetary award will be given to each of the top three graduate and undergraduate poster presenters. A certificate of merit and monetary award will be given to the top three art exhibit presenters. First place winners will receive $300; second place $250; and third place $200. Research Technician/Postdoc are allowed to participate but are ineligible for any award.
Awards Ceremony
The Awards ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. on April 14, room is in Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110. All presenters (including co-presenters) are expected to attend.
