About the Presenters
Quinn Carrick
Quinn Carrick is a junior at 91ԹϺ majoring in Digital Technology and Culture with a minor in Computer Science. An aspiring artist, game designer, writer, and project manager, Quinn is passionate about creating immersive experiences that tell meaningful stories. Through leading collaborative teams, they are developing strong project management skills and plan to pursue a project management role in the gaming industry, where they hope to craft narratives that inspire others, just as games have inspired them.
Midori Davis
Midori Davis is a senior DTC major set to graduate in Fall 2025. Within the DTC program, their “superpowers” are multi-platform writing and project management. After graduating from WSUV, Midori intends to pursue a law degree or a master's in multimedia journalism. Their biggest hyperfixations are documentary nonfiction and writing of assertion. Midori loves working with others and feeling the collaborative synergy of a passionate team. As chief editor of the VanCougar Student Newsmagazine, they write stories and lead other student journalists in fulfilling the magazine’s mission of capturing the news, culture, and lives of students in the WSUV community.
Maya Gibbs
Maya Gibbs is a senior at 91ԹϺ pursuing a DTC major and Game Studies and Design Certificate. Their academic interests are in worldbuilding, design, illustrating and music. They have been interested in game development and music since an early age, listening to game developer podcasts and taking music lessons. As a hobby they play the guitar, sing and design. Other passions include humanitarianism, glass art, photography and collaborating with others on a worldbuilding project. Future goals include working with creative media students as an educator, learning to sing, learning lampworking, starting a band, and traveling the world.
Zach Heller
Zach Heller is a senior at 91ԹϺ studying Digital Technology and culture and his focus is on web development, social media management, and video game design/development. He has enjoyed video games for as long as he can remember. His interest in coding developed later on but is just as strong. His goals include working as a social media manager for a video game publisher and/or developer company. Another avenue he wants to do is indie development with a handful of friends.
Jaret Benson
Jaret Benson is a senior in the Digital Technology and Culture program with a focus on 3D modeling and animation. From an early age they have enjoyed drawing and designing for characters and creatures. During high school, they were inspired by web series like RWBY to learn 3D modeling and animation, falling in love with the way it was used to create stunning visuals. Once they graduate from Washington State University Vancouver, they plan to pursue a job in 3D modeling, further building up skills and experience to pursue a career in 3D animation for movies and shows.
Autumn Pierce
Autumn Pierce is a DTC Major at 91ԹϺ, set to graduate this Spring semester. She is an aspiring web + UX designer with a passion for music engineering and Virtual Studio Technology. As an avid electronic music fan, she hopes to work as a front-end generalist for Digital Audio Workstations. When she isn't messing with granular synthesis or fiddling with retro video game emulators, you can find her biking at full speed across Portland.
Evan Leyden
Evan Leyden is a 2024 graduate of the Digital Technology and Culture department with a focus on 2D Animation. They love running, playing the piano, and working on an infinitely growing list of side projects. They are currently a Junior Designer at the Electronic Literature Lab at Washington State University Vancouver. Evan is looking for more work related to 2D animation and is working on several animation heavy projects in the meantime.
