Lux Johnson

Lux Johnson grew up in Camas, Washington, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø. They research amphibian pathogens in the Piovia-Scott Lab, monarch conservation in the Schultz Lab, and novel inorganic pigment synthesis and characterization in the Guo Lab. Their research interests fall broadly under the umbrella of malacology, particularly in Pacific Northwest freshwater snail taxonomy and shell pigment chemistry. Lux plans to pursue a Ph.D. in support of these interests. In their free time, they enjoy scientific illustration, spending time with their pets, reading, and exploring the intersection of art and science.
