Space types
- Classrooms: Academic classes have priority in all classroom spaces including Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110. Events taking place in a classroom during the first 10 days of the term (before Census Day) cannot be confirmed until 24 hours before the event start time. Plan accordingly. For room availability, size, capacity and layout, check .
- Leave the space at the end of your scheduled period. Rooms are scheduled with short intervals (5 to 10 minutes) between users, and your delay in leaving the space will delay the next group’s start time.
- Do not assume an empty classroom is available. Not all classes start and stop at the same time—we share space with a variety of users who operate on different schedules.
- Put tables and chairs back to their original setup. If you rearrange furniture, return tables and chairs to the setup shown on the diagram next to the door. Also, be careful not to block exits with tables or chairs to allow free egress in the case of an emergency.
- Food and drink are allowed in all classrooms except Dengerink Administration Building, Room 110 and computer labs. Call 360-546-9000 if a spill occurs or if you plan to hold a party—extra trash cans will be provided.
- Please remove all materials at the end of your scheduled period. This includes information on white and bulletin boards. These rooms are used by many, so space taken up on the boards is space others can’t use.
- Conference rooms and labs: Conference rooms and labs are scheduled by individual departments. The Events Office is unable to schedule these spaces. Reach out to the room’s administrative office for scheduling details. View a list of conference rooms online.
- Outdoor areas: Requests to use outdoor campus space can be made through 25Live. When submitting a request for an outdoor space, make sure to include all the details about what you will be doing with the space to ensure the Events Office can accurately accommodate your event.
- Clark College at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø: For rooms in the Clark College Building at 91³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, contact the Clark College Events Office by email or at 360-992-2713.
